Rights Not Rescue Town Hall 

Siding with sex workers and fighting the SESTA/FOSTA legislation has become a selling point of Suraj Patel’s campaign for congress. On June 16 he hosts a town hall meeting for NYC Sex Workers and allies to speak up against the harmful laws.

Fischerspooner Live w/ Juliana Huxtable, Xeno & Oaklander

The Queer Electroclash pioneers Fischerspooner return as part of BRIC’s Celebrate Brooklyn Festival with a new stage show warned to be “not for the prudish”. Interdisciplinary artist, writer and DJ Juliana Huxtable opens up the show along with Brooklyn’s own Xeno & Oaklander.

Putting Out

18 artists participate in this exciting group show questioning the commodification of sex, pleasure and desire after the Industrial Revolution. The show features current artists known for their work on sex and identity such as Reba Maybury and Leilah Weinraub as well as long standing art/music legend Cosey Fanni Tutti.

Reba Maybury Reads Dining With Humpty

Reba Maybury’s book Dining With Humpty Dumpty is the story of a Dominatrix holding one man to the truths of his female supremacy fetish. Converting the traditional Sub/Domme relationship into a psychedelic act of political domination, Reba takes a new look at the long standing view that the personal must be political. In conjunction with Putting Out at Gavin Brown's Enterprise, featured Artist Reba Maybury does a marathon reading of the book in its entirety.
