Our Top 14 Events for NYC Pride Month

 

Though the NYC Pride Parade only lasts one day, dozens of LGBTQIA+ events are happening all over the city for Pride Month this June. We’ve compiled a list of queer parties, talks, and community events that you won’t want to miss!

Pride FCGN (Fuck Clothes Go Naked) by GO NAKED is an all nude social event for anyone who identifies as a man, intended to build a community based on social nudity.   All body types and sexual identities are welcome.

DecadenceNYC All Women Kink Party is a BDSM/kink party for anyone who identifies as a woman and wants to play with other women.  Bring toys and your own booze to this upscale fetish club/playspace to enjoy an inclusive, welcoming community with snacks, drinks, and a comfortable space.

A Conversation with Patrisse Cullors is an event hosted by CUNY Graduate Center and CLAGS: The Center for LGBTQ Studies with artist, organizer, and co-founder of Black Lives Matter Patrisse Cullors.  Cullors will be receiving an award for LGBTQ activists who promote queer and trans studies visibility in their work and will be speaking with Black Lives Matter co-founder Justin T. Brown.

Lezzertag is a laser tag and bowling event for LBT women and allies hosted by Girl Social Events, which curates events specifically for queer women.  There will also be drinks, arcade games, and team bonding.

Sexpoetivity: Community Pride Workshop is organized by the Asian American Writers’ Workshop and highlights the intersection between sex-positivity and poetry in order to celebrate the work of LGBTQIA+ authors.  Sex educator Phoenix Danger will also be there to discuss safer sex education within the queer and trans community.

Breathwork to Heal the Trauma from Toxic Masculinity is a healing event for all self-identified queer, trans, non-binary, intersex, and GNC people.  Breathwork Healer, Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor, and Yoga Instructor Regina (@wolfmedicinemagic) will be teaching a breath control technique “geared toward total release and spiritual growth” for those with trauma caused by patriarchy and toxic masculinity.

Pawed Pride Bear Hug Cuddle Pile is a cuddle event for anyone who identifies as male that welcomes all ages, body types, and backgrounds.  This is a non-sexual environment with clothing required that aims to provide guests with increased oxytocin, reduced blood pressure, and a feeling of warm, fuzzy, safety all night.

Big Gay Roller Skate: Pride Edition is a skating event featuring cocktail hour, a drag show on skates, rinkside bar and dining, and contests + prizes.  Hosted by Girl Social and Guy Social, this month’s theme is Pride: Colors of the Rainbow, Unicorns, Neon, Glitter, Glitz & Glam.

Chill N’ Design: Pride Edition is a lowkey workshop hosted by jewelry company BlackQueerMagic celebrating Black and POC LGBTQ resilience.  There will be vendors, unlimited jewelry supplies, wine, snacks, and conversations around community building, community support, and sustainability.

Glitterati PRIDE: No Place Like Home is sparkle-themed event featuring glitter bombs, edible glitter, sparkle motion dancers, glamour shots, and more.  All are welcome, but glitter and glitz are required for entry. We’ll be there covering the party, so make sure you stop by to get your photo taken — maybe you’ll make it on The Afterglow!

Hot Rabbit’s Bad Habit Pride: NYC Dyke March After Party features DJs, performances, live visuals, and photography.  This event is benefitting the NYC Dyke March.

Everybooty is a four-floor radical evening of performances, installations, DJs, readings, and drinking with the goal of “bringing together the too often fractured queer communities of New York City.”  This year’s lineup includes drag pioneer Crimson Kitty, trans performance artist NIC Kay, burlesque dancer and sideshow performer Zoe Ziegfeld, and AORTA Films.

Queer Care Fair: Wellness and Chill is a day of accessible healing modalities to celebrate pride weekend.  The fair includes massages, yoga, meditation, a clothing swap, CBD products, organic snacks and tea bar, tarot, astrology, acupuncture, reiki + energetic attunements, organic vegan tattoos, a plant sale, music, and dancing.
